"Wear what makes you feel like you are living your most stylish life. There are no rules in rock n' roll."
As a musician, Emmy always garnered attention for her on stage wardrobe and contrarian aesthetic, which she describes as "soap opera punk." Comprised of mixed patterns, unusual textiles, and over-the-top hair-dos, Wildwood exists outside the modern world's commonly adopted beauty standards. She has owned two brick-and-mortar clothing stores, one -- The Hang Up -- in her native Tucson, Ariz., and the second -- Tiger Blanket Records -- a vintage boutique and record label hybrid in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. The latter earned her praise in Time Out New York -- dubbed one of the city's "Most Fashionable" - as well as Refinery29, Village Voice, The Deli Magazine, NewNowNext and more. After transitioning the shop online following a move to the west coast, Wildwood has grown her online business -- since rebranded as Secret Weapon Fashion -- to over 47K followers and counting.
